1. What PriceMe does
PriceMe is a discovery platform. We show offers from sellers to buyers and give buyers a code to claim an offer. We are not a party to any sale. We do not sell products, hold stock, collect payment or deliver. Price, payment, delivery, returns, warranty and invoicing are between the buyer and the seller.
2. If you are a buyer
- Using PriceMe is free. A PriceMe code is one per buyer per offer and works once.
- To get a code you give your real name, mobile number and email, and confirm the email. Use only your own details. We can block anyone who gives false details or misuses codes.
- An offer is the seller's promise, not ours. It can end on its validity date or when the seller's stock runs out. Check availability with the seller before you travel or pay.
- You pay the seller directly. Never pay PriceMe, and do not pay anyone claiming to collect money on our behalf.
- Before paying a seller you have not used before, check the product and ask for a proper bill. For delivery orders, prefer paying on delivery where the seller offers it.
- If a seller refuses a valid code, or you have another problem with a seller, use the "Report it" link on the offer or tell us at grievance@priceme.in. We will look into it and can remove the offer or the seller. Complaints must be true; false complaints can get you blocked.
- Do not misuse the site, for example by collecting codes you do not intend to use or by using automated tools.
3. If you are a seller
- Your business, address and contact details are true, you confirm your email before your offer is reviewed, and you are allowed to sell the product or service.
- You mark a code as redeemed only when that buyer has actually bought. The buyer and PriceMe are told each time you do.
- The "normal price / MRP" you enter is the price you genuinely charge, and never more than the printed MRP. You will not inflate it to make a discount look bigger.
- Your product is legal to sell, genuine, and not on the "Not allowed on PriceMe" list below.
- Any online price you give us for comparison is one you actually saw for the same product on that day, including delivery charges.
- You will honour every valid PriceMe code until the offer ends or you ask us to remove it, and mark redeemed codes honestly.
- You follow all laws that apply to you, including consumer protection, GST and product safety, and you issue proper bills.
- You will not ask buyers to pay PriceMe or say PriceMe guarantees your products.
- You will use buyers' contact details only to complete their order, not for unrelated marketing.
Not allowed on PriceMe
Sellers must not list any of the following. We remove such listings and can remove the seller, and we may report illegal listings to the authorities.
- Medicines, prescription drugs, medical devices and anything claiming to cure or treat a disease
- Alcohol, tobacco, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes, gutkha and hookah products
- Narcotic drugs and anything used to take them
- Weapons, ammunition, knives sold as weapons, firecrackers and explosives
- Fake, copied, "first copy" or pirated goods, and anything that breaks a brand's rights
- Stolen goods, and phones or electronics without a valid bill
- Adult products and adult content
- Gambling, betting, lottery tickets and "get rich" schemes
- Loans, investments, insurance, crypto, SIM cards and identity documents
- Live animals and wildlife products such as ivory, skins and shells
- Hazardous chemicals, pesticides and banned items
- Anything else that is illegal to sell in India, or that needs a licence you do not have
Sellers of packaged food need a valid FSSAI licence or registration. Product photos must be the seller's own or ones they have the right to use, and must show the actual item.
4. Our checks
We review offers before they go live and may ask for proof of a business or price. A seller's offers may be paused automatically while we look into complaints from buyers. We can refuse, edit for clarity, pause or remove any listing that breaks these terms or receives genuine buyer complaints. A "Verified seller" badge means we checked the seller's business details when they joined. It is not a guarantee of any product or service. Where an offer shows an online price for comparison, it is the price we saw for the same product on the date shown; online prices change often, so check before you rely on it.
5. Fees
PriceMe is free for buyers. Listing is free for sellers during our launch period. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell sellers in advance, and a seller will only be charged if they choose a paid plan.
6. Content sellers give us
Sellers allow us to display their business name, logo, product details, area and website link on PriceMe and in our promotion of their offers, and to connect buyers to their WhatsApp number. A seller can ask us to remove a listing at any time.
7. Liability
Sellers are responsible for their products, services and dealings with buyers. To the extent the law allows, PriceMe is not liable for losses arising from a sale between a buyer and a seller. Nothing in these terms limits any right a consumer has under Indian law.
8. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions or complaints: info@priceme.in. Grievance officer: Teerth P, grievance@priceme.in. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.
